Dear Antiq Hotel,

We stayed in your hotel from 9th until the 12th of April.            .

We would like to thank you for the lovely welcome and super service. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Slovenia and are determined to see and experience more of the country.

Yours sincerely, Mr and Mrs Crawford.

"To the staff at the Antiq Hotel,

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay this weekend. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I have submitted a review and some photos to TripAdvisor. I wish I had taken more photos of the hotel itself, but will return in the early summer to take more to submit.

Your hotel is beautiful and thank you again for a great stay "

We have two guests who wrote a song about their staying in hotel:

Arriving with white trousers
Covered in coffe
Matic was calm
And said, don't worry!

Jan was the man
To serve our evening tot
Gregor, afternoon tea
Lemon, honey and piping hot

We thank Jan to this conversation
And admired his hair,
Gregor looked like Boris Becker
And we thank him for his care.

We thank all the staff
For a wonderful stay.
Our very best wishes 'til
We again pass this way....

Two dear guests

Everything about this hotel was 100%. From the welcome as the six of us arrived (12 noon so well before traditional check-in) nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms were very well equipped, gloriously warm (it was February!) and with attractive antique furniture. Bathrooms were spotless with all the usual toiletries, fluffy bathrobes and towels. Beds comfortable and warm and plenty of space for our belongings.
The Manager gave us a guided tour (at our request) and what a marvellous mix of traditional and contemporary rooms - right up into the rooftops. All high-quality finishes and with variety in every one.
The hotel's location could not have been better. In the pedestrianised part of the city there was no car noise and we were far enough away from the cathedral not to be bothered by the bells. Every single place we wanted to see was within ten minutes walking time - Castle funicular, Concert Hall (try and coincide your visit when the Symphony Orchestra are playing - they are among the best in Europe), Triple Bridge, Co-op Bank, Galleries, Museums, Flea Market (Sunday morning), main market (every day).
To go further afield (Tivoli Park and the Railway Museum) we took advantage of the hop-on-hop-off bike scheme - check it out at Ljubljana Bikes - just 1€ to join for a week and the first hour of each hire is free.

Back to the Antiq - we shall certainly be back as a sixsome in late spring/early summer 2014 and use the hotel as a launch pad for trips out into the countryside. Ljubljana has blown us away but the gigantic cherry on top of the icing on a tasty cake is the Antiq Hotel.
